Beach Information

A Holiday in St Ives would not be complete without going to the beach. Here at Porthminster Beach we have one of the cleanest beaches in the South West.

Bathing Safety

RNLI Lifeguards patrol the beach with daily supervision between 10am and 6.30pm from May to September. For more information on beach safety, please visit: www.rnli.org

Dogs

Dogs are welcome on this beach except between 15th May and 30 September (from 10am – 6pm) when a seasonal dog ban is in place (2023).

Litter

There are bins available across the beach and we also provide recycling bins to encourage visitors to not only keep our beaches clean but also to help the environment as well.
