The lamb was astounding & I've had lamb in New Zealand and my partners Fish & Chips were amazing!! Thank you for making her day and we'll be back & spread the word!!

My mum and I visited your cafe on the recommendation of friends from Plymouth who take the train just to eat with you as often as they can.  Expectations were high and we were not disappointed.  The food was excellent and I can't waite to take my husband to eat with you again soon, so he can share in the unbeatable Sticky Pork Salad, not to mention the incredible Tamarillo Tasting Plate for dessert.  A real, memorable treat in a beautiful setting.

Your cafe was recommended to my mother & I by one of the many happy, chatty locals.  After a long day on the beach the open veranda was the perfect spot to sample some exquisite tapas whilst watching the sun setting.  Gripped by the food, the wine and the view we didn't want to move despite the coastal breeze picking up a little.  We declined the offer of a table inside and soaked up the wonderful vista wrapped in blankets you generously provided (a fantastic touch we thoroughly enjoyed!) I've worked in restaurants all my life and I credit the whole team on a job very well done.  Genuine friendliness and top quality cuisine is a rare find.

My wife and I had dinner at the Restaurant on Friday 29th while we were on holiday in St Ives.  We both have to congratulate you for the superb meal enjoyed by both of us.  We travel extensively and visit numerous eating establishments.  I cannot recall previously such a feeling of well-being we both enjoyed after the wonderful experience at the Cafe.  A return visit is assured. I felt I should drop you a line to say what a great evening we had last Thursday.  We had eaten with you three years ago and it was fantastic then - but it seems you didnt stop there - everything was faultless.

My wife had the Sticky Pork Salad and I went for the squid - both marvellous.  The John Dory fillets with crab were awesome and the Dark Chocolate Pannacotta was outstanding.

In my business life I go to many lunches in London with clients - including many restaurants from the Ramsay stable - and you have proven you are up with the best.

It is interesting to see your reviewed in the Weekend Section of the Telegraph on Saturday again - in a well deserved first place.  Interestingly enough the Beach Restaurant at Sennen came 6th - we had an awful experience there - it just goes to show how far ahead of the field you are.
